Malibu (now Sadie) We named her Sadie.. She loves to play with the tennis ball in the yard.. First thing she did when we brought her home was to curl up on the giant dog bed we have in the living room... She is so very sweet. Thank you for letting us provide her forever home.
Bear (now Grizz) We renamed him Grizz (like Grizzly) and he is already 17 pounds - quite a chunk! He is having fun with Bubba our 7 yr old hound dog, and is wearing him out. He likes his new bed - but we've learned to give him A LOT of exercise to help him sleep. Fortunately we have a fenced in yard he is busy exploring. He already knows how to sit for treats and food, and he pushes doors open - something our hound still doesn't do. Thanks for taking care of him and his littermates.
Skip He is doing great!! Only crated him first couple nights. First night didn't crate found him on the floor next to bed that Tanzi was on, one of the boys. She didn't take to him being on with her at first. But next few nights woke up and found them both on the bed, so cute. He is learning that he can go on the boys' beds but not mine (he did try couple of times). Doing great on walks, boy is he hound, nose to the ground like a vacuum and it was so cute to see him point! And boy does he love chasing squirrels, don't worry had him on a leash as we were walking around the yard. But surprised me and pulled me right out of my slip on sneakers. So strong, if he weren't so good and obedient, I would have a hard time controlling him and might need the pinch collar. We got one but haven't had to use yet. Also left him out of the crate when I went out yesterday and he was fine, came home and found two happy dogs waiting for me at the door. And last night Michael and I were downstairs and Tanzi sleeping in her bed downstairs and Skip went upstairs on his own and got on one of the boys's beds, so think he is pretty much settled in!! Much of the day when I am working I have Tanzi under the desk and Skip behind my chair. Michael loves to wrestle and lay on the floor with him at night. We are impressed that he never opens his mouth, even in play. He is eating both breakfast and dinner with gusto. Take care, be in touch and I meant it if you ever want to stop by to see Skip you are welcome.
Lucky (now Luigi) Dear RUFF, We and Luigi are doing well. He is very sweet, very playful, and a little mischievous (typical puppy stuff). He seems very smart and is a quick learner. He loves every person and dog he has met. He has been to two soccer games and a trip to pet smart. We are all very fond of him and he seems to be very happy with us. He is a great eater and seems fully house trained. His foster family socialized him extremely well. Please thank them for us. I will try to send photos this weekend. Warm regards, Kimberly
Thelma (now Petunia Bell) Thought you'd enjoy seeing this photo of Petunia Bell (F.K.A. Thelma) at 9 weeks. As you can see, the girls are over the moon for her. Francesca loves carrying her around, though with the rate Petunia is growing, it won't be long before she's too big to be carried. Potty training and crate training are going slow but steady. She cries a good bit at first in the crate but then will settle down. She's great about going potty outside -- but then goes again inside after you bring her in. :) Life with a puppy...Here is the picture of Francesca and Petunia. It's pretty reflective of her daily life! Spoiled rotten :) Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
