Jet

Hi my name is Jet and I was rescued along with many other dogs from a local puppy mill. Me and my dog family were living in terrible conditions but thanks to RUFF and their hard working volunteers we all were given a new leash on life! I love my new family and spend most of my time playing with my new sister. I am now 10lbs. and growing! Thank you RUFF volunteers for finding me my wonderful furever home!

Hercules

My name is Hercules and I am a very lucky boy. My owners gave me to a boxer rescue when they found out they were pregnant. Guess there wasn't enough room in their house for me anymore. But I didn't let that slow me down...the boxer rescue became full and a nice lady affiliated with RUFF rescued me and brought me into the program. I now have a wonderful new home with a Mom who loves me and two big sisters to boss me around...life is good :)

Lovey (now Adele)

Hi my name is Lovey and here is a note from my new family... We've fallen in love with Lovey (now called Adele after the singer) - such a very sweet girl. She's really acclimated well to both houses and responds well to her new name. She was a bit nervous around the water, but I'm sure she will get used to it. She has been fine traveling with no problems. We have numerous trainings on the leash during our 2-3 daily walks. She's mostly free to roam the house with me during the day and crated at night. She loves morning cuddles and has already been allowed on the couch in the TV room - something we NEVER allowed. She has some wild streaks which makes her very amusing (tearing across the yard, terrorizing the plants and running from Leslie) She's definately feeling more comfortable with us and getting more playful. As you can tell there are no plans to return her to NCRuff. She's a keeper! We can't thank you enough. Here are some pics from last weekend.

Kate

My name is Kate and my brother Leo and I were abandoned as babies and rescued from a local shelter by RUFF. I recently found my forever family where I have a new mom, dad, brother and sister who love me very much and spoil me rotten. My new name is Kaci Kate Ashworth. I am living every dog's dream thanks to RUFF.

Samantha (now Bella)

Hi my name is Bella (formerly known as Samantha). I came to RUFF as a stray and my foster Mom spent alot of time teaching me manners and crate training me. I had waited a long time to be adopted when my new Mom showed up at one of RUFF's adoption events. The rest is history! She and I are best friends and I am living every canine's dream life! I have tons of toys and lots of love. P.S. I also sleep in the bed with my new Mom every night...so I basically rule the roost!
