Hi. Are you looking for a laid back, quiet, playful man? Then I’m your man. I’m Archie. Or you may call me Conner. I will answer to both names. I came into the rescue 7 years ago when a very nice lady picked me and another dog up along the side of the road.  At 6 months old, a couple in their 80’s adopted me and named me Archie. I loved them so very much. They worked with me and helped me to overcome my insecurities. I love belly rubs, head rubs, and love and affection. While I was with my mom and dad, I helped them both. One of the few things I did was when my dad would back out of a parking spot, I would watch to make sure a car didn’t suddenly appear and if one did, I would bark to warn him. We had a great life but then my mom got sick. I would lie all day with her after she became bedridden. Then my dad got sick too. I hear they are both in their 90’s and can no longer take care of me so I’m back in the rescue looking for another terrific family to love me. I was so very sad when I came to my foster home but my foster mom just gave me love and allowed me to mourn. Now I’m ready to find my next furever home. If you are willing to be a little patient with me since I am a little nervous with new situations, the rewards will be great. I love spending time in the back yard walking around checking everything out, love to play, or just hang out with you.
