I'm a very sweet little boy weighing in at 8.5 lbs. I was found as a stray out in a rural county and brought to the shelter. I was very scared and didn't like being in the loud and cold shelter. RUFF came to my rescue and brought me to a warm foster home. My foster mom could immediately tell that I hadn't received much care in my lifetime. I was afraid to be loved and my teeth were so bad I could hardly eat. Thank goodness the vet fixed me up but now I have to eat soft food or smaller kibble type food.

I'm now learning it's ok to be held and loved. I'm learning to snuggle with my foster mom and my furry foster brother and sisters. I've even learned to explore the fenced backyard on my own but always come to the steps when my foster mom calls me.  Now I just need to find my forever home and a new family that will continue to show me that being loved is a good thing. Since I tend to be very skittish I would do better in a home without small children.   (*TH/KC)
