Hi, my name is Roxie! My foster mom says I am a sweet little thing weighing just 35 pounds.  I get along well with other dogs and children.  I still haven't figured out the cats in my foster home.  Sometimes I ignore them and sometimes I chase them.  A lot of it really depends on if they run from me because I am pretty sure that means they want to play chase!

My foster mom keeps me in a fenced yard to play while she is at work all day.  When she gets home I get to be in the house with her.  If she decides to switch our routine and go out again after being away from me all day she has to put me in a crate, otherwise I will dig out of my fenced yard.  I love my crate so it doesn't bother me a bit other than the fact that I would rather she was home cuddling me! 

I am learning all sorts of new tricks such as sit, shake, lay down, stay and come.  My foster mom says once I have all that mastered she is going to teach me "leave it" so I will leave her kitties alone.  I still say they want to play chase but my foster mom doesn't agree. 

I have a luxating patella (which just means my kneecap moves more than it should) so sometimes I favor my left leg.  The vet said it is no big deal if it doesn't bother me.  It doesn't slow me down at all.  I love to run, explore and to play fetch.  I run up and down the stairs so fast that sometimes I sneak right past my foster mom and she has no clue!

My ideal home? Maybe a stay at home mom who wants help looking after the kids, or a retired couple who is looking for companionship. I am looking for a home where I will get a lot of love, cuddling and playtime!  Do you have a home like that? (MBo)
