Hi!  I’m Goldie!  I was pregnant and in the Wake County Animal Shelter when I was rescued by RUFF.  I had 11 puppies and now I am ready to find a home where I will get lots of love and attention! 

My foster mom says I am a sweet and cuddly dog.  Don’t let my attention seeking nature fool you though, I am full of energy when it is time to play ball and go for walks!  I will even throw my toys around and entertain myself.   My foster mom laughs at me because I carry my leash to her at all hours of the day to let her know I am ready to go for a walk!  I bring her other presents too like shoes or clothes that are laying around. I am still young so I need to go for walks every day if you want me to sleep through the night.

I get along great with other dogs and like to play and play.  I like cats too but if they run from me I think they are trying to play so I chase them.  I do well with children, check out the video below to see me playing with a 2yo boy that visits my foster home!  He really tires me out......we play and play.  I follow him everywhere he goes.

I am housetrained and know some basic commands like sit, stay, shake, down and off.  I am learning "crate" and "leave it". 

I want to be with my people all the time and I will dig out of a fenced yard if I need to!  My foster dad took care of that by putting down chicken wire around the fence line and he says it works like a charm!

Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spayed and micro-chipped.
