Hello people, my name is Roscoe and I was found roaming around on my own in Garner. Thank goodness a nice person took me to the shelter where RUFF saw me and had a foster mom lined up for me to stay with for a while. After being on my own for a bit I can be a bit skittish; however, if you just sit down on the floor by me and let me come to you all is great within 5 minutes or so! And don't I have the cutest ears?? My foster mom also loves how my little front paw turns outward when I am being so good sitting for a treat. I am crate trained and will go right in with a treat or a peanut butter Kong. My foster mom lets me sleep in a really comfy bed by her bed at night and I sleep just fine all night. I am estimated to be between 3-4 years old and probably a mix of some great dogs. Maybe some Corgi/Cairn Terrier but who cares as I am just all around awesome. I love sitting in your lap but am respectful of furniture so will wait for you to pick me up. And I surely love the treats! I live with 2 foster sisters (a Beagle and a Pittie/Boxer mix). I get along great with them and play really hard with the Beagle. I have been on a few leash walks and learning about that as all I want to do is smell, smell, smell right now so a work in progress. My foster mom reports only a few accidents in the house and she believes that is mostly me marking my territory as with a house full of girls what is boy to do?? I would love to meet you and see if a good fit for your lifestyle/home. You will not be disappointed as I aim to please.
