Hello! Thanks for visiting my page!  My name is Axl.  I'm a young, approximately 1 year old Sheperd/Hound mix.  I look like a Sheperd, but with shorter legs and a shorter body.  I'm a 42 lb, medium-sized dog.

I'm also a very happy dog.  I love to be around my foster humans.  I really enjoy being around them.  I love going for walks with them and watching tv with them and, well, just about anything they do.  I also love the other dogs at this foster home.  I even love the one who gets in my face and barks at me to make sure I know that she's the dominant one.  Whatever.  I don't care if she wants to be top dog.  I'm just happy to play with her and all the other dogs.  I'm just so happy. 

I have a medium energy level.  Honestly, I'm happy doing whatever. I love to play ball. I love to play with toys and chew on sticks. And I'm doing really well in learning how to be a great family member in the house.

And what really makes me happy? The thought of a forever home.  A family to call my own.  That's what I really want.  Are you it?
