I lost my mommy when I was very young. Luckily I was found by a nice family and they gave me to RUFF so they could help me find a forever home. At first I couldn’t see well and I didn’t know how to chew hard food. My foster family has been helping me learn that and more! I can sit on command, I respond (most times) when told “no” and I can sleep in my crate all night without accidents. My bladder is still small and I’m still quite young so I do have accidents in the home on occasion. If I have plenty of opportunity to go outside after waking from a nap, playing or eating I do well! I have a foster brother and sister that have been teaching me how to be a good dog. We love playing together but they they tell me when they’ve had enough or when I get too close to their dog food in the morning or evening. My favorite place to play is outside! I’ve been for a few walks on a leash. I watch my foster brother and sister do it and they make it look easy but sometimes I don’t understand why I have a collar around my neck. Everything is new to me so at first all things are scary. As long as I have my foster family close by I can handle anything! I play hard and in the evening I love to climb into my foster daddy’s lap for a little nap before bedtime. I rarely cry when I go into my crate but chewing on something soothes me to sleep.  (MC/CW*)
