Look at my face! See the resemblance. Add a red bandana and I'm a dead ringer for Axel Rose of Guns and Roses. But its been a rough month as I was picked up as a stray, left in a shelter, rescued by Cake Lady, quarantined, neutered, and now residing comfortably in my kennel pen. I'm ready to be a your Rock Star! I'm a little over a year and a half old Miniature Schnauzer/Terrier Mix with the longest legs.
I'm only about 12 lbs and fast on my feet. I love my toys especially the furry squeaky ones and I carry them all around the yard and put them back in my bed at night. My foster mom calls me a hoarder, but I just like to know where they are. I love to play fetch and run the yard. I'm housebroken, good on a leash, love car rides, love to be with you in the yard, and "guard" the premises. I'm a little hesitant with new people, cause I'm just learning that the "hand" is for petting, and not hitting. I need you to be patient to win my trust. But when you do, you are mine!
P.S. I don't shed much.
Foster Mom Notes: As Axel adjusts to his environment, he begins to blossom. He will be a wonderful companion to a Retired Couple, Family with Older, Gentle Children, or Single individuals who have time to devote to him. He needs a home in which he would be the only dog. He should have a yard with at least a small fence. Terrier experience is helpful. (TJ/CM)*
