Rev up your engine! I'm Mustang Sally and can cruise right into your heart. Like the classic car, I'm not too big, not too small - and won't take up too much room when I curl-up next to you, which is one of my favorite things to do. I hope you don't have off-limits furniture, because I love to be next to my humans. I'm very cautious and learning to trust, but since being with my foster family of two adults, two dogs, a cat, and two active boys, I've gotten more comfortable having some fun. I don't like to be in charge, and am fine with other animals or by myself (in fact, my foster sister dogs seem very intrigued by their cat, but I could care less). Sometimes I get a little overzealous with face kisses, but if you tell me you've had enough, I'll get a hold of myself. Still, I'm a low-key dog who likes to be near my people. I'm not overly playful, but more of a friendly companion. If I see something outside, I will bark a few times - I want to be sure my people are safe, but I don't over do it. I am housebroken, and even go to the door so you know I've gotta go. I love walking on a leash, and my foster mom thinks that if she decided to take-up running again, I'd be a good companion for a few miles. I don't like to talk about why, but the crate scares me. I try my best, but when you leave me locked in a crate, I panic. I've even worked my way out of crates - but I can't reveal how (it's a mystery). But, it's ok. I'm totally fine left out in the house for hours, so hopefully that will let me avoid being closed-in. Whether you've got kids or maybe just adults, I'm looking for a forever home that wants a sweet, low-key companion. All I need is for my humans to return my affection, spend time with me, and love me as much as I'll love them. (JT/AF*)
