Hi my name is Hickory! I really don't know what my real name is but my foster mom rescued me near Hickory, n.c.! She saw me by the side of the highway and thought that I was wearing a red bandana! When she got close she realized that I had a pretty bad neck wound most likely from an embedded collar! My foster mom took me to the ER vet where they gave me anesthesia and meds. and surgically removed all of the infected parts! Even though it was painful I was happy to feel safe! The next day my foster mom took me to her vet where they checked me for lots of types of worms and gave me my first shots. I am happy to say that all of my tests were negative and I am a healthy boy!

I have been recovering from my wound at my foster mom's house. I am crate trained and seem to be house broken so far! I get along with her six and seven year old dogs...I am much faster than them! I am still a pup so I am sometimes a little pesky because I have an abundance of energy! Sometimes I can sit and lie down on command...working on it.

I really like toys....but...I will eat them if you let me!  I might like cats too...my foster mom is not sure since they don't have a cat! She thinks that I just might because I am so agreeable, like to play and seem to be happy to let others be the boss!  Give me a try you will not be disappointed! (SC/CM*)

Up to date on age appropriate vaccines and micro-chipped.
