My name is Macon. I'm a sweet hound dog looking for my forever home. I will howl to play with my canine friends and I will howl for my food, but I'm not a big barker and mostly quiet unless it's play time or dinner time. I love to sit and gaze out the window during the day. It makes me happy. I am house trained, crate trained, love treats and know basic commands. My foster mom trusts me enough not to crate me. I love to run around in my fenced in back yard. I have lots of canine foster friends that I romp and play with every day. My new home would need a 6 ft fenced yard because I am athletic enough to jump shorter fences. Socially, I get along very well with all dogs, big and small, but need to be in a cat free home. If you are looking for a low maintenance, part-time couch potato who loves to snuggle with humans, then I'm the dog for you. (AF*)
