Barney is a highly intelligent, active fellow who loves to run and play with other dogs. He knows how to 'come', 'sit', 'down' and is learning to walk politely on leash. Barney is housebroken and crate-trained and weighs about 40 pounds. He loves to ride in a car and eagerly jumps in when given the opportunity. Chick-fil-A is a favorite haunt of Barney's due to their supply of dog treats and the occasional french fry. Barney is a very active, easily trainable young dog. He would do best in a home with another dog and a fenced yard to run off some of his excess energy; as a jogger's companion or an agility/obstacle course dog. Older kids would be fine as Barney loves to jump (he has jumped 6 feet vertically) when excited. Come meet Barney at an upcoming adoption event!
