Hey Everyone! My name is Avalon but people call me Ava. I was found just kinda hanging out on the road and someone grabbed me and brought me to this icky place they call the "animal shelter".  Boy was it noisy!  Anyway, one day someone told me that my "time was up" and nobody had come to claim me and they needed the space I was in for another dog.  I'm not sure what that all meant.  Then all of a sudden, I was swept out of there quickly and brought to live with a family. They bathed me and fed me and took me to the vet for all sorts of stuff.  I really like this new life!  I'm so happy!  I run and play with the other dogs here and I play with the family's three children.  I'm so kind to everyone.  I'm a quick learner and have been picking up all sorts of good habits.  My foster family tells me that I'm beautiful.  They marvel at my long legs and they say I'm the perfect image of a treeing walker hound.  They say I look purebred; whatever that means.  And they tell me that I'm the perfect dog in terms of personality and demeanor.  Whatever.  Anyway, now I'm ready for a home of my own - a family to call my own. Are you it?
