Hi my name is Chance Amos and I am a sweet pup with a lot of love to give to my forever family! My foster Mom picked out my name because she decided to take a "chance" on a pup that needed to be saved. I was surrendered to the local shelter as a very scared and abused pup that nobody wanted. One look at me and my foster Mom knew I was a diamond in the RUFF ;). So, here is the skinny on me, I am the total package for the right family. All of my RUFF friends have all been adopted and I'm just wondering why someone hasn't snapped me up yet. I would make an AWESOME running partner or companion for hiking. I LOVE the outdoors and running and playing. I also adore other dogs and I would benefit from having a fur brother or sister to spend time with. While I have the energy needed to be a running or hiking partner, at the end of the day I will pass out in your lap or my crate and take a long snooze. See, that is the good thing about me I am 4 months old and crate trained so you don't have to start from square one with me. I am still working on my commands and leash training so all I will need is a good routine and the right owner to remind me of my manners from time to time :).  Because of my playful nature, my foster Mom feels a home with older and considerate children would be best as I am still learning and I need to be with kids old enough to understand and be able to participate in my training. My ideal home would also include a fenced in yard where I would have the freedom to run and play! Foster mom notes:  To ensure the best possible home for this pup we prefer a home:  • with a fenced yard or someone who is very active and has the energy to give pup enough exercise, training and socialization.    • where pup is not crated more than 4 hours at a time.   • without children under 5 years of age.    • with financial ability to continue proper puppy care    • where pup will be an inside member of the family.  (MB/EC*)

Up to date on age appropriate vaccines, neutered and micro-chipped.
