Hi; my name is Ellie T and I am a sweet and loving lapdog. I am a shy girl, but I bonded quickly with my foster mom, and now I follow her around wherever she goes! It takes me longer to warm up to men. I'll do better with men who let me come to them instead of expecting that we will be instant best friends. It took me a while to trust my foster dad, but my foster mom helped me understand that he isn't scary, and now I even get in his lap for snuggles and kisses, too.

If you don't like the idea of keeping me in a crate while you're gone, then we are a perfect match. I've escaped from crates and from behind baby gates, so you might as well just leave me out in the living room while you're gone. I'm not a chewer and I'm not destructive, so it works for both of us. If you leave your bedroom door open, I'll probably jump on your bed for a snooze while you're gone! Of course, I would love to sleep in your bed at night, too, but if it's against the rules, I will sleep in a doggie bed on the floor in your bedroom. I just want to be close to my humans all night!

I like to walk on a leash and I ride well in the car. I’m too short to see out of the car window, so I just lay down in the backseat and relax until we get to where we’re going. I get along with other dogs and with cats. I’d love to meet you and show you what a beautiful, sweet girl I am!   (AS/*KC)
